The Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter (SM-LAC) of
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, was chartered on March 9, 1997 in downtown Stone Mountain, Georgia. We strive to empower our community, guided by the initiatives set forth by our Founders over 97 years ago and supported by individual Chapters throughout the world. The initiatives encompass our Five Point Programmatic Thrust, which include Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical & Mental Health, and Political Awareness & Involvement.
To ensure success, we need your help! SM-LAC's community service projects and scholarships are supported by funds raised from revenue generated from special events hosted by the chapter, and through donations from individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations. 100% of all income is reinvested in the community, therefore all contributions make a difference.
